BECOME A MEMBER
If you need affordable food, live in Blacon and are in receipt of state benefits, then why not join the Blacon Beacon? We provide a generous food package with quality tinned/ambient items and fresh produce which can be collected from Trinity Hall (at Holy Trinity Church) each week.

Members with a family membership receive approximately £25 worth of food (average retail price) per week, for a subscription of £5 per week. Single members will pay £3 per week and receive approximately £15 worth of food.

To become a member all you need to do is fill out a simple form, just pop in to see us at Blacon Beacon to get one, check out our opening times on the contact page. Once you're signed up your membership will last six months.
We want our services to go to people who will benefit the most, so we do have questions we ask about your circumstances to make sure you are eligible. The answers you give will be treated in strict confidence. Our Manager may talk to you about the form, if there are questions we need to ask.
To become a member you will also need to pay a weekly subscription of either £5 (family package) or £3 (single package).

Unfortunately we're only able to offer membership to a limited number of people at any one time which is why membership is only available for six months. This means we can help as many members of the community as possible, but don't worry if at the end of your six month membership you wish to sign up again, we can discuss this with you towards the end of your membership.
